The Chemical Industry

All industries depend on chemicals, the demand for which will be continuous and increasing.

There are two groups of chemicals, organic (carbon compounds) and inorganic (minerals), and from the investor's standpoint it is the organic chemicals which occupy the scene. This is because they compete successfully with, and are replacing, the natural raw materials in commercial use, such as cotton, rubber, wool and metals.

New synthetic chemical materials (organic) are creating new markets, and holders of shares in chemicals may find these suddenly enhanced in value by some new discovery.
